Notsuke Bay Ice Horizon Walk
The Ice Horizon Tour takes place from late January to around March, during the peak of winter. Guided by local experts, you can walk across the frozen Notsuke Bay and experience an endless white world stretching to the horizon — one of the most iconic winter activities on the Notsuke Peninsula.
Tours range from short, easy walks to full courses that reach the Todowara area. Routes are adjusted according to weather and ice conditions. The vast expanse of ice creates a surreal feeling, as if you’re walking on the sea itself — a truly unique winter experience found only here.
