On the Notsuke Peninsula, you can enjoy a variety of flowers from spring to summer. Starting with the Corydalis frutescens in May, other flowers such as Japanese bush clover, Japanese black lily, Rugosa rose, and Siberian daylily bloom one after another, creating a different landscape depending on the time of year. There are many foggy days in the summer, and the fantastic scenery created by the flowers and fog is a unique attraction of this time of year. Seasonal flowers bloom along the roads and promenades, making it the perfect place for a stroll. What's more, by taking a sightseeing boat that operates from May, you may be able to observe spotted seals and harbor seals up close.
